Hey Brett Farve shut up and go away

Am I the only one who feels this way. Im so sick of seeing his face on ESPN everyday. Now he starting to use the media to make the Packers look bad. Dont retire every year and want to come back its BS.

GO AWAY

lol....and espn blows it up also since there is really only baseball going on right now. kinda pathetic trying to come back after all the tears he cried in his retiring press conference. great player but give it up dude and retire while on top. on the other hand, he is better than half of the starting qb's out there right now

"Great player" but is he really?

1. Played all the time Yes but he gives away so many games with ints right to the other teams players. (Remember the Philly game years back)
2. Only one SB win
3. All time INT leader
4. Like NE played in joke division but also in a joke conference.

I put him just below the "great" line.

Having said that my all time favorite non NE game is the one Farve played after his father died. He is turning is story book career into a PR nightmare.

i agree with you on those but when you play so many games your good also comes with the bad. only one SB win but some dont ever get that (arrrhhhhmmmm marino). i bet marino would give his left arm for one....lol. it's funny how he always comes back with his records but someone always shuts him up when they tell him about a ring.....lol. back to your boy, he did throw for 28 tds last year. he did play in a weak division, i hate to say it but anybody can win in the nfl....look at the giants. so i wouldnt give up on the other teams when saying it's a weak division (even though it's true). still a tuff game to play.....especially at QB for 18 years. it's Favre btw

dude brett could actually help out any team who needs a quarterback and take them places...idk bout you guys but he was forced to retire...you could tell all along he still wanted to play even his press conference at the end of the year he hinted that they wanted him gone....if the packers dont want him then give him up and let him play....i hate when teams hurt players by not trading them especially when ppl are willing to give up players to get him shouldnt their front office want to bolster up there roster im sure teams would be willing to give up some good players to get him

^ umm forced to retire? Thats not how I remember it. He got them to the championship game, Im sure if he didnt hold the huge press conference and instead said Im comming back it wouldnt be a problem. Its the way HE chooses to do it that is the problem not the Packers. No athlete should use the media to back a team into a corner which is exactly what HE is doing.

Now if behind closed doors and not in front of video camera if Farve says to ship him off to the AFC which is really the only way this can work, thats one thing. You cant have this guy coming back to play against you.

Urbnmat I do agree he would help a lot of teams out there but will he get the chance or will Arron Rogers be watching from the sidelines.......again

favre needs to learn that, while one of the greats, he's not bigger than the game or the team.

stay retired buddy.

^Jordon had to leave cause of gambling? no? At least that is the conspiracy theroy. They didnt want him to be another Pete Rose so he left while NBA swept it under the rug for a little while.

Im not sure if anyone else ever heard that.

farve is going to be traded im calling it nuaghty...as to the media blitz going on all athletes use that as leverage....any person who is under rosenthall has used media to lever a deal ....hate to admit it but if you want something done bring it to the publics eye..everyone ever notice how nothing is getting done til the news gets involved and then the public

besides it wont matter the giants are going to win another one

The Packers are doing Favre a favor by not releasing him. Favre just doesn't realize it yet. Retire a Packer and go quietly into the night Brett! Your glory days are well behind you.

Hey I'm sure the Chiefs will take him... they have a history of taking legendary quarterbacks after their prime (i.e. Joe Montana)

Didn't Montana take the Chiefs to the playoffs that first year? I think Favre could do the same but in the end his INT's will kill any dreams of another SB.

Yep, he did. I'm actually a Chiefs fan and I think that if Favre comes back and is released by the Packers, the Chiefs are a very likely team to take him. Brodie Croyle is not ready to lead the team and Damon Huard was a flash in the pan.

It's not a long term solution, but considering how long it has been since the Chiefs have won a playoff game, it's probably worth the gamble for one season.

Now getting Herm Edwards (DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR) out of the head coaching position is another issue...
