This is disturbing for me to even write...08 Summer Olympics, China
Tom Miller of the South China Morning Post reported today that bars in central Beijing have been instructed to not serve blacks or Mongolians during the Olympics:
Beijing authorities are secretly planning to ban black people and others it considers social undesirables from entering the city’s bars during the Olympic Games, a move that would contradict the official slogan, “One World, One Dream”. Bar owners near the Workers’ Stadium in central Beijing say they have been forced by Public Security Bureau officials to sign pledges agreeing not to let black people enter their premises…. Security officials are targeting Sanlitun, which Olympic organisers expect to be a key destination for foreign tourists looking for a party during the Games. The pledges that Sanlitun bar owners had been instructed to sign agreed to stop a variety of activities in their establishments, including dancing and serving customers with black skin, they said. THIS WILL BE AN INTERSTING OLYMPIAD. DISCUSS....

Communism is on display. Not only this. This week they alternate which cars can be on the road on which day based on the last digit of the license plate. The green algae getting cleaned up - how else do you get so many thousands of people to "volunteer"?

O rly? That's absurd and ridiculous! Blacks and Mongols? Well, most Chinese have Mongolian in them....
"Scientists have compared the DNA of Koreans with eight other Asian populations, including Chinese, Japanese, Mongolians and Malays. This study showed that Korean DNA is closely related to Japanese and Mongolian DNA, but is distinct from Chinese DNA. Based on this study, we can conclude that Koreans, Japanese and Mongolians are related. The Chinese are genetically distant to that of the Korean and Japanese people." They shouldn't be serving Chinese either. Can we all just get along? Geez...
