Manny Ramirez, traded from BoSox to Dodgers!
Manny Ramirez's stormy relationship with the Boston Red Sox appears to be over.
A baseball source has confirmed Ramirez has been traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers, ESPN.com has learned. Jason Bay is going to Boston as part of the deal, ESPN.com's Jayson Stark reported. And the Pittsburgh Pirates get four minor leaguers as part of the three-way deal. Third baseman Andy LaRoche and right-handed pitcher Bryan Morris will go to the Pirates from the Dodgers. Outfielder Brandon Moss and right-handed pitcher Craig Hansen will leave the Red Sox orgianization for Pittsburgh, ESPN.com has learned.

I have no ill will towards Manny but hopefully this will spark the Sox and be better off in the long run. Bay's numbers equal Manny's this season.

jason bay wont fit manny shoes, but hes a shoe-in for the leprechaun magic.
manny ramirez is cool now that hes on the dodgers. i didnt like him cuz he was on the redsux.

^Were they the RedSux prior to the last five years? No one really cared about the Sox other than Sox fans when they couldn't win a World Series but win a couple and bring on the haters. It's just ignorant when I hear people say the Red Sox or the Yankees suck and I include Red Sox fans in that statement. I'm a baseball enthusiast as well as a Red Sox fan and after two WS wins in the last four years, they far from suck. Just my .02.

^ I'm pretty sure he'll produce, he always has. Manny just wanted out of Boston for whatever reason. I'm pretty sure he'll make LA a contender for the playoffs in the west.

bay may be an able backup but big papi just hit a wall as far as pitching....id rather face bay then manny any day so they will start papi as cleanup and bay batting third which may mean more walks for the popster and he wont get the same looks he would with manny coming up behind him....
also its gonna take sometime to get used to the new field and that wall....and on the other side manny trying to play a real field is going to be interesting.... i just think the pirates took it up the rear on that trade but they are never good anyway
