Tire Help

So its about time for me to buy a new set of fronts for my G. I have an 06 coupe with the premium wheels and the sport suspension. I've read a couple places that the OEM Bridgestones are crap, not to mention they're crazy expensive. Anyone have any recommendations on a summer tire not so expensive but that also wont wear out in 5000 miles? Also, i was planning on just going to costco or NTB, but if anyone has any suggestions of cheap places to get tires changed i'd appreciate it... i live downtown

NTB can order anything you want if you ask them. My recommendations:

Yokohama Z drives
Hankook Ventus V12
Sumitomo HTZ III

I posted this earlier about the Hankook.

----
For those interested the Hankook V12, here are some things consider:

- It has been getting rave reviews practically everywhere
- TireRack has them cheap
- If you go through Fatwallet, you can get 4.3% cashback if the tires are purchased at TireRack

To top it all off, Hankook offers Road Hazard warranty for no additional cost for the first 25% of wear on the tires.

Unfortunately the rebate is gone, but between the free road hazard warranty, TR's low prices and the FW rebate, you should be able to score these at a relatively low cost versus getting them locally.

Never bought anything off of tire rack so im not quite sure how it works... do you just buy em, have em send them to your place, then take em wherever to get mounted? or do you have them send them to wherever you want to get them mounted?

Both.

In the past i would just have them deliver it to my home, i then take those and my wheels to Discount Tire. Since they won't need a lift to mount, things are done pretty quickly.

TireRack also has recommended installers (some with reviews), you can opt for the tires to be shipped there. All you have to do is schedule an appointment.

You can have them shipped to you or directly to the shop that you're going to have mount them. I had mine sent to my local NTB. It's easier.
