OZ ultraleggeras 20x8.5

Hi i just got a 2008 OB G35 sport and i came from a 2002 Nissan Spec V with a 3.5vqde in it. The question i have is in regards to wheels. I am planning on putting some OZ ultraleggeras in black 20x8.5 with a offset of 40. The tires im planning on are 245/35/20 on both front and rear. I am planning on a eibach prokit drop or H&R ( i am also undecided which springs i should get too maybe you can suggest). Well the question is will i rub and do i need spacers thank you and which springs should i get(i want the dropped look but with the ride qulaityu and no rubbing)?

oh does anyone have these wheels if so can you post thanks!

most like u wont rub with h&r
after the drop, your negative cambers will tuck the wheels but u might wear your tires down faster =/
with eibach u have a lower chance of rubbing and its a nice drop after they settle in

Thanks but with the springs(with all my research im still confused) which offers offer gives the a lower drop between Eibach and H&R and by how much. And do people use older H&R springs for the previous g35 gen so are the eibach made speciical for the 2007/2008. I dont understand can someone please clearify!

Just buy a set of the H&Rs for our YEAR and MODEL! Also, I suppose those wheels only let you do that off set huh; and tire size. Interesting.

H&R has a bigger drop and is a bit stiffer than Eibach
Eibach's are just a bit higher than H&R but smoother
Eibach lowers vehicle 1.0”-1.5”
H&R lowers vehicle 1.5”-2.0”
but i dont think you'll have any rubbing problems
there are people who put 22's with an eibach drop and have no rubbing at all with a seats occupied
you should be fine

well it depends on you really and ride quality you like.
if u want the ride to stiffer get H&R or if you want something low but still has that nice smooth ride get eibachs

personally, im gettin 19/9.0 and 19/10.0 rims with 245/35/19 and 275/35/19 tires and i still wanna have a smooth ride, also considering all the bumps and everythin else, im goin goin with eibach
so it just depends and what you like. the springs arent going to make handling and better or worse. the only difference is quality and height

H&R is a much lower drop in the front, if your roads aren't the greatest where you live (like us up here in toronto) stick with eibach pro's. I have them on my G, my Camry, my brother has them on his protege, my buddy on his RSX, etc etc...

on pre-07 sedans they dont sit like that in the rear - not the Pro, maybe the Sportline - the Pro kit sits higher in the rear... doesnt squat like that.

Maybe they made them sit different in 07+

maybe he has a system in his trunk, causing the back to sink down...
From other pictures i've seen, the prokit drop was a perfect mix of looks and everyday driveability.... It lessens the wheel gap w/o the tuck/slammed look
