width isn't as important as rolling diameter.

tire width, wheel size, none of that matters, just overall diameter. you could have a 16" in front and a 22" in back as long as the overall tire diameter matches.

^+1, as usual sredish explains it in fewest words possible, just match the overall diameter

Don't do the 19/20 F/R thing. It just doesn't look good because the front wheel well on a G35 is cut higher than the rear so running 19s up front would just make the front wheel well gap appear larger since you'll have to run a taller profile tire up front.

IMO, staggered only looks good on sports cars (NSX, Corvette, Lambo, etc.) where the front end is noticeably lower than the rear. On a 4 door sedan - or even on a G37 coupe where the front end is pretty thick and beefy, it looks like crap.

Additonally, I like the ronjon rims alot. However, note that these rims are made specifically for hondas and acuras. While the 5x114.3 bolt pattern will work on our cars, the center bore for the hub on Hondas are 64.1 mm whereas Nissans are 66.1. This means the rims won't fit on your car unless you get an adapter to convert your G35's centerbore from 66.1 to 64.1. Since you need to go to a smaller centerbore, you can't just put in a center bore ring. You will need to install an adapter/spacer. This isn't all that bad because the ronjon rim offsets are pretty conservative and you'd want to run a 10mm to 20mm spacer on them anyway depending on whether you buy the +40 or +52 offset rim.

thanks for the input....ron already told me he has a friend who can bore out the 3mm and the work is top notch, itsll all done in a cnc machine in a matter of minutes while you wait. Rondi told me that our centerbores are 67.1? is it 66.1? id think he would know since hes been in the industry for a lil but you never know. Ivce always been a fna of his work esp teh kits hes made for the acura community. Ive alwasy rocked RJ's on all my cars. I loved them on my lexus when i was doing shows and promoting for him and for the prices you just cant beat it.

The only reason i am going with those wheels is bc he has a pair of brand new 20s already with tires on it from a photoshoot, i didnt want to go with 20s but since im good friends with him hes giving them to me at cost. well see if i want to splurge the extra money for 20s in front too...but I do know what you mean on the front esp on the X. i hope they come out with springs or coils soon for my car.......the 20's do come with a 3" lip though!

I checked some more and I've seen people mention Infiniti center bores are 66.06, 66.1, and 66.2 - which are all essentially the same. I haven't seen anywhere mention it to be 67.1.

FWIW, I just installed 20mm spacers on my 08 G35 sedan yesterday and they were hubcentric w/ 66.1 center bore. The spacers and M45 rims fit the car perfectly. So, I'm pretty sure it's 66.1.

Even if you do get them bored out to the correct Infiniti center bore, I still recommend spacers to push the rims out for a nice flush look.

is it a must to run spacers with the m45 wheels? that was the other option i was going to go for to save some money and put it towards perfomance. if so what kind of spacers did you use H&R?

Spacers aren't necessary with M45 rims. I ran them w/o spacers for about 10 months. I ended up putting 20mm spacers on all 4 corners because I will be lowering my car this week. It just looks much better w/ spacers - especially when the car is lowered - because the rims camber inwards and tucks in pretty far when lowered. Here's a pic of jayjay's G without spacers - note how tucked in the wheel looks?

If you're not lowering the car, 15mm spacers all around would look good.

I went w/ some ebay spacers for about $75/pair. They seem to be pretty good quality - machined alum/mag alloy, are hubcentric, and seem to fit perfectly. After I put them on, I test drove my car up to about 90 mph and no vibrations or issues at all.
