Going on a Cruise, Leaving Monday
Mom really wants to do somthing with me so we are leaving on a cruise Monday.
Its the Carnival Fantasy. It leaves New Orleans and heads down to this one stop on the Yucatan (the one with chitsa nitsa or w/e) then we go to Cozumel. Then it heads back up and we are home next Saturday.  Just wondering from anyone whos been on a cruise, whats it like? DO they ahve internet? I want to still get my driver fix lol

they have internet on most cruise ships, but its quite pricey.

Internet on the Princess cruise I was on last week was $.75 / min for the high & $.50/minute for the low.

I've been on the carnival fantasy out of New Orleans. It was fun, there is internet, but you have to pay for it. There's kiosks in the Lido deck or what ever deck the casino is on, where you give them your sail and sign card, and you pay by the minute...
I rode on the ATV adventure in cozumel and it was pretty fun, after that we relaxed on the beach. oh yea, and at dinner, you can order as much as you want, not just one of every course... I had 2 desserts every day, it was delicious...

it's an ok ship, If you get carnival's catalog that shows all their boats and layout, it's somewhat in the middle... There's a small pool, but it's really small and only kids swim in it. I spent most of my time in the casino, there's a club that late at night starts to play hip hop ad r&b. If you're planning to buy jewelery don't get it the first day, like on the 3rd or 4th day there's a sale. The first stop, all i did was hang out on the beach, the second stop they let you off right there and there's the mall across the street. We signed up for the ATV adventure (~10 people) and had a blast.... The water at the beach is beautiful...
