Where's your destination in 2008?
My family and I just finalized our upcoming Christmas 2008 trip to Bali. We are flying Singapore Airlines (one of the best) business class, and spending 2 + glorious weeks in Bali for Christmas. We have booked several days of day trips and the rest would be just to spend time together and some R&R.
What are your plans for vacation this year? I'd like to get ideas on where to go next... I'd love to visit places such as Turkey and Egypt, but now is not a good time to go. Have a safe trip!

Later on I'm headed to Vegas for a weekend, and hopefully I'll go either to Brazil or elsewhere in Europe around Christmas. Last year I went to Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Arizona, and Canada. I really enjoyed Scottsdale, AZ and Prague, Czech Republic the most out of all the places I visited last year. They're just really fun places to be if you're single and like nightlife.

My immediate family & wife's immediate family (about 18 of us) are all planning a trip to Mexico for a week Christmas 2008. Probably Puerto Vallarta or Cabos san Lucas. Also, wife & I just got back from a caribbean cruise 1.5 weeks ago. After this Christmas I want to go somewhere in the Bahamas & then to Europe.

I am headed to La Romana, DR next week for some tropical relaxation. Like AthensBlueG, we are headed to Cape Breton, NS in July for a G35 road trip with members from Driver. In the fall, my wife and I are heading to Greece.

My trips planned so far are not as exciting as you guys. in May Tahoe just for a long weekend. June the girls trip to Palm Springs, then Cozumel for a week with a big group of friends and were taking my daughter and her boyfriend. July lake havasu for a week then up to Mammoth for 3-4 days. My husband wants to go to Costa Rica I don't know exactly when though. We have a wedding in Nov. in Guatemala I'm not sure if we will go. We go camping and wakeboarding just about every weekend so it seems like were always gone.

AAAhh! You guys have a lot of exciting vacations planned!
AthensBlue = Oh, L-O-V-E Jamaica! I was never solicited for ganga so often in any other place and time! HAHAHA! Your trips sounds SSSOOO exciting! CrazyRuskie= LOVE Puerto Vallarta! Growing up, we used to have a condo in Cabo San Lucas, but sold it. It was a nice getaway, hop on the plane place when we were kids. GarnetCanuck= I would LOVE to go to Greece... we were going to go this year, but the U.S. dollar's too low.  We do have that in our list of places to visit within the next 3 years. Hopefully the U.S. dollar would get stronger by then.  Tinman= Are you going to bring your cute baby to Vietnam w/ you? One of my coworkers recently came back from Vietnam and brought their baby... he said that the only saving grace on that long flight were the bottles, binkies and business class seats. The pictures of the beaches he showed me were beautiful!  Lisa! Girl, I'd LOVE to visit Mammoth again, and HELLOW, Palm Springs... LOVE that place... tons of fond memories in Palm Springs  In Mammoth, I believe there are still 2 McDonalds over there... both are owned by one of my good friends, they're much older than me. They were the first to open a Mickey-Dees over there... they're still young and living very comfortably. It was a smart move on their part when they bought that place... I remember I was still in school and they were nervous about signing the documents when they bought it and put in everything they have financially. .

wow. so many nice places on the list... the wife and i have been planning a trip (starting to plan) to tibet, but that doesn't seem so possible now w/ the current situation.
now we're looking at doing a whirlwind tour through thailand, malaysia, singapore and ending in bali.

-Cape Breton Cruise with a bunch of great folks from the forum
 , we will be gone for about 12 days.-England later this year , length of time yet to be determined. -Mayan Riviera, Mexico for 4 weeks next February.

Nothing exotic is on my calendar.
I applied for my passport today so I hope to get a trip booked to a foreign country later this year. I am bored with U.S. destinations, especially those in the eastern part of the country.

I'm leaving on the 3rd of May for Madrid, Spain then off to Lisbon, Portugal. Lourdes, Nice, Paris France final 3 destination it will be a 3 week trip. Can't wait 1st vacation in 2 1/2 yrs.
