Cruise to Hawaii or Alaska?? Post your experiences...

i'm down in San Diego and thinking of taking my gf on a cruise, either to Hawaii or Alaska.

Looking for a 10+ day cruise, preferably leaving from San Diego.

please post your experiences and any recommendations.

thank you in advance

JMHO, I'd take the cruise to Alaska. If you were to go to Hawaii, it's better to do it in land. However, Alaska is a great place to explore in land too.

Although I wouldn't take a cruise until I'm a senior citizen... but that's my opinion. I took a cruise for my honeymoon for 16 days in the Virgin islands and Puerto Rico.

Have a safe trip.

^^ tool cool to answer my PM?

anyways, i did both cruises. both are a BLAST, but NORMALLY,

alaska cruises leave out of seattle or vancouver, and hawaii cruises leave from LA or hawaii.

+1
On my way back from Hawaii I spoke to a couple at the airport that had just finished a Hawaiian cruise. They said they liked it, but did not have enough time at each stop.
I felt the same way about my last cruise, I want to go back without the ship someday.

Unless the ship dock for more than a day at each port, I'd go with Alaska.

We did it about 9 years ago and loved it.

My folks are doing one for the first time in another 4 weeks.
