Beach House (East Coast)?
Since summer is just around the corner - it's vacation planing time!
 My friends and I are looking for a beach house somewhere on the East coast (NC, SC, AL, FL) that we can rent for about a week. I was wondering if anyone have any suggestions or maybe been to few places that they can recommend. We'll have about 10-12 people pitching in, altough something affordable for college students would be a plus

I think Florida will be more entertaining for college aged kids (Panhandle, Ft. Lauderdale, for example), though Myrtle Beach in SC is popular.
Where I live is one of the nicest beach communities I have come across in this part of the country but it is kind of boring once you look past the scenery unless you golf, sit at the beach all day, or kayak/fish.

We're renting one on Isle of Palms, SC (by Charleston, SC) in July. There are lots to choose from there and the other islands close by (Sullivan's,Folly Beach, etc.) We rented a 3 BR 1300 ft house that shares a pool and beach access with 4-5 other houses that are exactly the same size and circle the pool. They have much larger ones available if you don't care to split up.
