apples to oranges.. the cities i lived in korea were all major busy cities, while the cities i stayed in japan were more quieter locations, they were both great locations.. but i enjoyed korea a lot more'

I was only 5 when we moved here, but I do remember Russia. The lifestyle was WAAAAAAAAAY more laid back / relaxed.

I loved korea but damn couldn't sleep in that city for some reason.. on a tour in the daytime and watching tv all night thats all i did.. lol I would love to go to japan though, i've only been in they're airport for a stop over.. lol

I was talking to one of my korean coworker once.. the way she said it was like north part is uptight and southern part is laid back..i guess to put it in simple terms LOL

The only rude people i ran into were the older generation. They tend to look at filipinos the way americans look at mexicans.. I taught english in an few english institutes in seoul, a few of the uppity places had the rich old school koreans running the places, i felt like a step child compared to the white canadian teachers there.. they were the only koreans that left a bad taste in my mouth. the majority were pretty kind and generous people' shoot... i married one

What is up with that, anyway? Three of my great friends out here are Filipino (as is my brother-in-law) and I've seen them get crap from Koreans, Japanese, etc.
