Your Favorite Beaches

Of all of the places you've visited, what are you favorite beaches, and why? Post up pics if you can.

My top 5 favorite beaches are..........

1. Half Moon Cay, Bahamas. This is hands down the best beach I've ever visited. The sand was as white as could imagine and just like powder. Just beautiful.

2. Fisherman's Beach, Albufeira, Portugal. As you can see from the picture, the setting of this beach is unbeatable. The beach itself is long and wide and sand is very soft. It's the setting that really makes it though.

3. Megan's Bay, St. Thomas, USVI. Megan's Bay is rated one of the top 10 beaches in the world and I can see why. The water is extremely calm and warm, the sand is beautiful, and the surrounding setting is gorgeous. It's a must see if you ever visit St. Thomas.

4. Lagos, Portugal. Another beautiful Portuguese beach. The beach in Lagos is surrounded by rock formations out in the water and is quite breathtaking.

5. Bavaro Beach, Dominican Republic. Another beautiful white sand beach like the one in Bahamas. This beach stretches over 30 miles and is laiden with coconut palms. Truly a beautiful beach. Sorry, this picture I took isn't the best.

I did go to the caspian sea once, but we didn't have much time so while I got to see it, I didn't get a chance to hang out on the beach.

Sweet! You visited the world's largest lake, that must of been pretty darn cool.

Ah! I couldn't find all of my memory sticks since I'd moved... I know they're somewhere around here Shane, but here are some that I found. Okay, my list:

St. Lucia

Bali

Belize

Virgin Islands
Malaysia

I don't recall the exact names. I like secluded beaches. The one in Belize when I went by myself to "de-stress", that was the best so far that I've been to. I was the only person in the first 2 days at the beach aside from the wait-staff that was waiting on me. It was so peaceful, relaxing and nobody wanted anything from me aside from my orders. When the other guests arrived, there were only 5 other guests and they were there for the same reason.

For me, it'd have to rate Tulum Ruins Beach (Mayan Riviera) right up there..

& the ruins on the cliff overlooking the beach

LOL, does a nude beach count? Sandy Hook, NJ. Actually, I'm rather partial to the beaches in California, this is a nice area, not sure how accesible it is, but it's beautiful in this area.

Tom, I'm not surprised you know where the nude beaches are!

BTW, Tulum, the ruins, LOVE IT!
