Travel agency suggestions for honeymoon...

So my fiance and I are planning our honeymoon. We're thinking of bora bora, or fiji and australia. Anyone know of good travel agents, preferably in the socal area? We're having trouble finding proper deals and packages. Thanks, guys.

I'd search those areas on www.tripadvisor.com for reviews, pics etc. then use it to search for prices.

Trip advisor is great! We have learned a TON about the resorts that we have been looking and and considering for our honeymoon! I havent used it so much for pricing and whatnot though. Both of our parents have timeshares and whatnot, so we are doing the exchanges-

Congrats and Goodluck!

Can't help you with SoCal agents, but I definitely recommend Bora Bora!

Went there in 2k3 for my honeymoon. 3 days in Tahiti, 5 days in Morea, 5 days in Bora Bora.

If you plan to get an over-the-water bungalo in Bora Bora...make sure it has Air Conditioning. I didn't...and it was miserably hot!

OH yeah. Muruma Tattoo! Go there, get some ink!

It was a very beautiful experience. We had a glass floor in the middle that allowed you to see fish swimming by. It was even more spectacular at night. we also had our own deck off of the back with stairs down to the water's surface that we could use...but I would never, ever do it again without AC in the room. ug...

I'll look for some pics that I have of it and post for reference.

Lemme know if this helps you consider French Polynesia instead. Now that I remember, I think we used a travel agent from Tahiti to arrange everything...I'll have to check on the name.

Some pics from my trip.

We hoped to go back for our 5 year anniversary this past March, but life has a way of getting in the way, plus the trip was far more expensive than was feasible at this time.

We've been wanted to go to Australia as well as New Zealand. Any of the destinations you listed sound great.

One final word about Bora Bora. Not that I'm a world traveler, but it is the most remote and beautify place I have ever seen or been to. That being said, I could only take about 5 days there...as it was so remote....here is a picture of the "center" or "town" in bora bora...I would still go back, but I would spend far more time in Morea. Morea had just the right mix of tropical escape mixed with civilization. Tahiti was a little more bustling than I had expected.

only town in bora bora had 3 stores...and calling them stores would be an exaggeration...
