Kalvinmaui travels Asia: Lots of pics (no 56k)
Got back from vacation last week. Haven't been home to Singapore in 14 yrs so it was time to take trip back. My trip started in Hong Kong, then Singapore, then the majority of it was in Malaysia. Enjoy!
San Francisco Airport      After 13hrs, I see Hong Kong!!!!   Landing at Hong Kong International Airport   On the way to the hotel in Kowloon   Hong Kong is nice, just really crowded.              I ended up watching The Dark Knight in Malaysia with my girl. Great movie!    I really like food in Asia  Cool tower of cards   Happy ending district  Cool president I saw      Pizza Hut FTW. I felt it tastes better in Asia    Mans Paradise       Reminded me of the scene in Rush Hour  Then it was off to Singapore. It felt good being home with relatives. I forgot how humid it is in Singapore but it is by far the cleanest city you will ever visit. Balcony of my aunts house   Orchard Road      Cool place to buy electronics

Now its on to Malaysia. We drove from Singapore to Johor baru, Melaca where my grandma lives, then to Kuala Lumpur.
Lady making fresh sugar cane juice  Johor Baru, straight hood  Looks like TX  Me and my buddy chilling at a rest stop to eat  Melaca Crocodile park. It costs $.60 to enter   Chillin   Downtown Melaca  Stopped by for dinner. Guy cooking satay  Hotel view in Kuala Lumpur   Parked outside the hotel  Mid Valley Mall. Our hotel was connected to this shopping complex  Food Court  Cool place for JDM toys  Hung out with some old childhood friends I havent seen in 19 yrs   Golden Triangle shopping district   KL Tower from my hotel   Kings Palace in Selangor   Chinese Temple          National Monument

      Merdeka Square   Hotel pool  Petronas Towers  Outside Kuala Lumpur City Center   On the Skybridge between the towers    I drank soybean milk everyday on this trip  Really good Indian food  My girl and I going out for dinner  China Town  View from our pool  Traffic is horrible in Kuala Lumpur. I thought LA was bad. Its worse here.  Putra Jaya, where all the Government offices are located.

Neat pictures.
I am a little surprised by the amount of English written on signs. Is that standard for Asian countries? As for Singapore, isn't it illegal to chew gum there? Must be nice to walk on sidewalks that are not littered with black gum.

Wow some really nice photos you got there mate, one question, the shisha place you were at in KL was it called something like Laka Laka or something like that? it's next to the patronas towers right?
