Japan

Well, going to Japan in 2.5 weeks for the first time and I was wondering if I can get some good sight seeing/resturants I should go check out while I'm there.

I'll be staying near Shinjuku to give everyone an idea. I dont want to go too far out to like Kyoto to see castles but rather stay within 2 hours from Tokyo.

If anyone can recommend some good places to eat I would apprecaite it.
(sushi, ramen, udon, you know Japanese food )

Sight seeing such as castles, musem, gardens, historical sites, oh and a nice hot spring/spa for me and my wife.

I'm looking online and researching but I would like to get some information from those that've been there

Thanks everyone!

i need some help too. for those of you who have travelled there intensively or lived there. is it worth going to the local garage say rays dealer? will they have special and if they are cheaper there? will they probably not have that much stock? i know where their corporate office is but that's just a tower. they told me to just go to their local retailer which i found a bunch of on their japanese website. ill be there in a week .
is it worth it to visit both the nissan and the toyota factory tour or are they similar. anyway, some of you probably have relationships there, do they have lots of parts to see locally or do you mainly have to place order from a catalogue there? i'm afraid they won't speak english so i'm planning on bringing some photo of rims that i like

anyway i'll end up just taking a look bc who knows if they'll ship my stuff correctly, lol

oh here is the address of the shops in kyoto and osaka, the third tab has the locations of shops in the area of tokyo.

Got back from Japan! What a fun trip it was

Went all over Tokyo area and saw some cool and different things. Food was great! People were very nice and helpful. Their hot springs was one of the best! We did so much walking that I feel fit now

But I have to say overall everything was expensive. Food prices was good though, it was actually cheaper than in the U.S. especially sushi

Plenty of night life, just follow the neon lights

I highly recommend everyone to visit Japan at least once. It was a great experience. (Flying first class didn't hurt either )
