Need Help, car will not start now

My car was running fine until yesterday. It was very snowing here; it took me 30 minutes to get my car back in the garage. I was driving/working it pretty hard. Once I got it in the garage, I noticed the brake and battery light were both on. I simply tried restarting it, the brake and battery light were still on. I decided to let it sit over night, same results. I then took it for a spin around the block, the anti lock brakes worked, all dash lights worked, but still no power steering. On top of that the car would almost go to idle when the heater was on for around 2 minutes or more. Finally I got the car back home, but now it will not even start. Any suggestions???????????? Thank you for any help.

Regards,

I just went and tried to start it again, it started, but the brake and batter light is still on. Will a broken belt mess with electrical part of the car?

It will affect the electrical system b/c it affects the alternator. Just pop the hood and give a peek

update: My problem was the daytime running light modulator; they replaced it. at the same time they ordered a new part because there's a TSB for a no-start issue that the sedan has.
