i got mine done on Monday. hey if you do it make sure they give you the 07 Sedan as a loaner. Dont take any 06, make sure you drive the 07 sedan... that was the best part of the whole recall thing.
after recall i noticed no difference in the light itself, but noticed the headlight house is a bit darker than before. it used to be silver, but now it's dark gray matching my grill

that's where i fixed mine. make sure you get the 07 sedan for a loaner. ask them for it they usually tend to run out of 06's before they start rolling 07's

I have 3M clear bra on my headlights and I already know the dealer will not replace those (I am out $75) .

here is the question... is it worth my $75 to get this done??? or should I just keep the current headlights? is there any advantage to the new ones ? are they better in any way?? (maybe I'll just wait till one of mine burns out and then go in and replace them) - that is worth $75 to me.

I have to switch my hood out before I take it in for the recall. I don't want them to crack my CF hood by closing it wrong. I noticed mine today when I left my girls house. the driver side is higher then the passanger side.

I had my lights done and the install looked like crap. One light was almost 1/4 of an inch below the body. It looked like somebody pushed it down. It seemed like the new lights didn't fit as good as previous. Also I have noticed that the old lights were rubbing against the body and scraped of paint to bare metal. I had the dealer put up some touch up paint so it will not rust.
I also had a clear LEX light covers but they were installed by the dealer when I bought the car so they had to replace them. Can't coment on performance because I didn't pick the G yet. It's still in the shop.

if you have a pre-06 coupe but got the 06 headlights, do they still replace them?
