Advice my tune map - self tune
I have a e-manage ultimate and did my own tuning with the help of a innovate a/f meter.
currently the A/F is about 12.8-13.1 on WOT till redline so i think it is pretty decent.
Picture of the map
how much timing can i advance further? I already tried to increase from the 2.0 to 4-4.5 and serious i cant tell the diff.
the timing question is hard to find - i read some cars can increase it by 6-7 deg and it is ok.
I am running RON 98 here in singapore.
some mods
JWT intake - custom air box similar to cold air
Stillen Z-tube with heat shield wrap
Kenstyle exhaust
HFC
Motordyne plenum
re-routed the coolant line so that it doesn't flow into throttle body - temperature in singapore is always above 26 deg C.
Engine torque damper
grounding cables

you shouldn't be applying the increase in timing as the throttle position opens, but more at the RPM's increase.
Open loop/Closed loop...you don't really have control with the eManage until you are about 80% open on throttle.
Keep that in mind, what you do BEFORE 70-80% isn't gonna do much.

thanks. will try to increase it to 5 ..
I understand the open loop concept but some how it the butt dyno tells me the acceleration is slightly better when i set those below 60% as well..
I am not sure how fast the close loop compensates when the e-manage tries to add the timing when not under WOT.

You can set them down there, but from left to right it should be more like this:
60% 1 1 1 1 1.5 2 2.5 3 3.5 4 4.5 5 5.5
70% 1.5 1.5 1.5 1.5 2 2.5 3 3.5 4 4.5 5 5.5 6
80% 2 2 2 2 2.5 3 3.5 4 4.5 5 5.5 6 6.5
90% 2 2 2 2 2.5 3 3.5 4 4.5 5 5.5 6 6.5
100% 2 2 2 2 2.5 3 3.5 4 4.5 5 5.5 6 6.5
Just as an example. Hopefully that makes more sense.
Less throttle = less timing (increases as Throttle increases)
More RPM = more timing (increases with rpms)
Its not til about 3000 that I would start to have the gradual increase in timing...or maybe even 3500.
60% 1 1 1 1 1.5 2 2.5 3 3.5 4 4.5 5 5.5
70% 1.5 1.5 1.5 1.5 2 2.5 3 3.5 4 4.5 5 5.5 6
80% 2 2 2 2 2.5 3 3.5 4 4.5 5 5.5 6 6.5
90% 2 2 2 2 2.5 3 3.5 4 4.5 5 5.5 6 6.5
