G35Driver.com MEGA-Meet?

I was actually wondering if we could plan a event where in a few months time or a years time we can have the WHOLE website meet up for a HUGE car meet. You know travel across the country show off cars have a good time, meet new people, brag etc...Was hoping if this is possible or if it's been done before or if we can even raise the money to do such a thing. I'd pay money to go to this event. Hell, this kind of stuff happens once in a life time.

Dang it!!! Of course this will go down while I'm in Hawaii.

I'd go if I was in the mainland. Cost to much to ship a car and takes too long.

But where to have it, that is the question.
Ideally it should be somewhere in the central U.S. so that no one has to drive ALL THE WAY across the country. On the other hand, if it's somewhere in Cali, there will be a lot more people to attend because there's so many on this forum that are on the West side anyway.
If this ever happens, word would def need to be spread far beyond this forum. There are TONS of Infinitis in Tallahassee, but a recent meet turned up only 2!!!

I'd be down. Not really feeling driving all the way out to Cali. So i like the central idea. But if it came down to it. I'd probably roll to Cali too.

I would make the drive to cali but I would so much rather have it in a central location or someplace in the south like texas or florida.

a poll would help idealize what everyones thoughts maybe on the location.. the IDEA of a meet this caliber is superb.. but like everyone else i wonder where it would be best and would suggest more interest to have it..

we've had this topic numerous times before, and for some reason or another have never been able to gauge/commit enough interest to have such meet...


in any case, I'd be down for DFW, but there's a lot of planning that would go into a meet like this.. Jeff92se might be able to shed some light on the subject, as the maxima.org guys have done this quite a few times if I'm not mistaken...

Yeah, the idea has been floated several times.
A large scale meet like this takes a tremendous amount of work & dedication to pull off.

That said, if you have every been to one,
they are amazing events.

I attended the last BMW Z series Homecoming last year in Spartanburg NC.
There were 500+ cars & even more people.
It was the best car event I've ever been to.
