Redoing my suspension on 07 g35x looking into coilovers but also want to upgrade the rest of the front. What are you guys running and do they make upgraded lower control arms?

No, they don't make them, but you can put new poly bushings in your existing LCAs. Here's what you'll need for a good overhaul:

New compression rods (switch the bushings with poly), poly bushings for your LCAs (inner and outer), New steering knuckle ball joints, the coils you plan on buying, New upper control arms (kinetix v2 are a great choice. Come with poly bushings to boot), spc rear camber arms (other brands are worthless), spc eccentric toe bolts, New tie rod ends, some front/rear sway bars, sway bar bushings, and to put the icing on the cake, wheel spacers! (25mm rear 20mm front).

Be sure to go to conceptzperformance.com. a lot of their prices are better than eBay and they have almost everything you need.

Do you do all your own work? Post here if you have any questions. I've taken my suspension apart like 12 times, so I can probably answer. Of course mine is a coupe, but most of the parts are the same.

I usually would but with the weather here in PA being crappy, might have my buddy do it at the shop he works for.
I redid my Volvo suspension a few times. I should be OK but if I do I will definitely ask. Thanks

For the lower control arms can you just replace the ball joint or just get the whole assembly?

No, you have to buy the whole arm. The ball joint can't be removed. Sucks. You could just get the bushings pressed out of your old ones and just replace the bushings, but those ball joints may be well worn and then you'd have to buy new ones soon after and re-do the work. How many miles on the car?

Yeah, I'd do new ones. Go to rockauto.com. they have raybestos, Dorman and mevotech. I actually have some mevotechs brand new in front of me and they're really nice. I can't give an honest opinion on the ball joint quality, cuz I have yet to put them on (I just replaced the bushings on my OEM ones, now ill be doing the whole arm haha) but..I mean its just a ball joint. It feels like any other. It's gotta be at least as good (probably better) as the OEM ones, cuz the OEM bushings and ball joints are crap.
