The 17s from any second gen (V36) chassis will fit on the G35S model. The only difference between V36 Sport vs. non-sport models that could possibly effect you is the brakes, and there is still plenty of clearance there. The only clearance issues that came up were with the later G37 Sport models which had the bigger Akebono calipers.

I never said that. I responded to your post specifically asking about V36 17's. I don't know about the V35 17" cross fitment, so I can't speak to that, but it looks like you already asked about that in your original post.

Sorry, should have been more clear, I have 17" Wheels ( Steelies) from my v35 with winters on them, that I wanted to use on the V36, incase they don't fit, rather than get spacers, I might just get another set of 17s.

"The brakes, on the other hand, are flawless. Sport models get larger 13-inch rotors front and back, and they stop this big sedan with little trouble. Fade is not an issue, pedal feel is excellent and stops from 60 mph take just 112 feet."'
Nope, they're not the same :S
Regular /x and journey are 12.6" front and 12.1 rear, the sport is 13" all around

I have the factory brakes on the car, are you sure that they are the same size on the g35 without the sport package? I Guess I Can always just test fit one wheel.

Due to the larger diameters I have a feeling you are going to be stuck using 18's or usng a pretty big spacer with some 17's (not all) to clear the brakes.
