Relocating the Snow Switch

I have had my snow switch tucked inside the center console since I replaced it with a remote bass controller for my sub amp. Now that it's getting colder out, I feel I need to have the switch properly relocated and easily accessible before the snow season starts.
Has anyone relocated their snow switch from the center console? If so, where did you end up placing it?
I'm thinking I'd like to have it next to the VDC switch on the driver side where the AFS switch sits currently. The AFS switch will be moved further down where the blank switch plate once was, which I am now using for the sub control dial in the center console.
Any input would be appreciated.

I went ahead and tackled this little project this evening. Everything went according to plan. Here are some pictures of the end result.

Looks really nice! Really OEM looking! My RWD doesn't have anything Where the AwD mode and AFs switched are located! I would love to do something with them! Maybe some custom fog switch! And missile guided switch! Some $h1T like that!

Hey great job! Were you able to pop out the AFS and VDC switches easily? Or did it require pulling out the entire panel?

The bottom panel needs to come off so you can get to the switch surround that holds the switches in place. It mounts to the bottom panel with screws. Once you have the bottom panel removed and the switch surround out, the switches simply pop off.
