Replacing Sound Deadening Material in Rear Door
Hi, has anyone installed / replaced sound deadening material in the rear doors of the 07-08 G35 sedan?
I recently bought a car that had repair from a rear collision and the door was repaired in a poor manner and is completely absent any sound deadening/dampening material. Not only is the door lighter to the feel as you close it, it sounds like a hollow tin can.
For those who have worked on it, what materials do I need to restore the door to the original state? I found how to take the panel off and get into the door, but I dont have a clue where to start when it comes to installing the correct factory sound deadening. Any advice appreciated. Thanks.
