Paint Flaking on door pull
On my '08, the paint is flaking on the black door pull exposing a white surface beneath; both driver and passenger sides. Has anyone else experience this, and what's the best way to fix?
I'm assuming some type of flat black touch up paint, but I'm hoping there's a way that'll look better. Can just that part be replaced or is it a part of the whole door panel?

I realize this thread is 5 years old - but nobody responded to his/her question.
I have flaking paint on both of my door pulls and was wondering how folks have addressed that to make it look better. It doesn't appear as though the door pulls come loose from the entire panel.
I'd like to hear what folks have done.

I'll answer my own question....
I ended up just masking off the door panels and hitting the arm pulls with some rattle-can semi gloss black paint. (two coats) Cheap and easy. It has been a week and we had some warm weather, the paint did not rub off or crack. So I'm leaving it that way. It is a 16-year-old vehicle after all.
