Sunroof stuck
So I'm out for a nice fun sunday drive on a beautiful day, and decide to open the sunroof. Got a bit windy, so I decided to close it. Tap the button, and the sunroof closes half-way and then starts making a horrible vibrating/grinding noise. Hit the button again to stop it, backed it out, and then tried again. This time, it closed but it continued and tilted up. Went to close it back down... more grinding/vibrating. Now it just clicks when I push the button like it's really stuck. And it's stuck open :/
Anyone had this happen?

Not that I'm aware of.....
There have been SR finisher issues, but yours is the first one that I've seen posted with this problem.

I've seen this before. In fact, it's happened to more than one person.
In those cases, the same exact thing occurred. It was caused by a loose screw that came out and got stuck in the track. I'll go searching for the thread and see if I can find it.

Wow, good find! Thanks.. I'll take it down to Infiniti and hope that's it so it's a short turn around. Otherwise I'll start pulling visors and pillars if I get impatient.. Good thing it's not going to rain around here for quite a while

Same thing happen to me. Went to the dealer and found out that some screws back out. The dealer fix the problem and everything works now.

I'd like to know the exact location of these and if we can get to them without ripping everything apart.
I'd like to check these periodically to avoid the problem, or maybe even hit them with a little lock-tite
