I can't imagine it being an easy swap. I bet it is intergrated in the seat itself and would end up very costly to change. I don't think it would end up worth the hassle.

I'm sure you would have to change the seats,
+ other ancillary parts.

The easier option to seat cooler retrofit is Alcantara in the seating area. (stay tuned )

sweet, do we have a custom interior in the works.

The heated and cooled seats are nice but an option we Northerners miss is the heated steering wheel for those cold winter mornings.

I've had thoughts on trying to direct the rear seat vents (located below the seats in the S) and distributing the air into the seat bottom. Don't think it would end up having enough cooling power but perhaps it would help.

If you look at the cooled seats you'll find that they are specially meshed to allow the air to flow through them. The factory non-cooled seats just aren't designed to circulate the air like that. I'd suspect that redirecting the vents wouldn't make much of a difference. I'd also be that the only way to retrofit an existing G with this technology would be to replace the seats entirely. The new ones probably fit although I don't know of anyone whose actually tried.
