I know this is a old thread but Is this trunk still available?

http://www.bodykits.com/Extreme-Dime...107629/835662/

Is that the same one? I'm looking to purchase the exact same trunk for my car.

I inquired with R1 about the trunk lid, concerned about quality and how they fit. I was told, "If my body shop knows how to work with mod parts I'd be alright!" That didn't sound like a positive response, so I passed!

^you'll get that response about ANY aftermarket part gary. If i remember correctly your kurumaz didn't fit too well out of the box did it? [no way implying the trunk fits like doo-doo, which it doesn't ]

Gary
Gary R1 is correct given that no aftermarket part fits like OEM and will almost always require some adjustments, hopefully only minor. If you've seen photos of this trunk online or seen it in person and you thought it fit well I would go for it. There are other parts that don't fit well no matter what adjustments you make to them, but that is clearly seen in photos where things don't line up. This partcular part is not one of those parts.

What Marcus said. I can't 100% guarantee Fitment on any part. Quality on the strafe(ams) decklid exceeds any other decklid out there. I've personally handled almost all of them. I have had great luck fitting the decklids but you need to know how to mount aftermarket parts so please don't twist my words. Anyone has any questions feel free to ask. The HDR from ED nor the hd decklid are the same as ams

The first KurumaZ bumper was perfect, prep/paint/install and lasted for close to 5 years. The second one purchased from our Marketplace, same vendor was a #*&%+ nightmare! Using the same bodyshop the final cost was $1100= installed, slightly more than I expected....
