You can do that if you want. But more often than not people are gonna ask questions that only pertain to their own setup. Most people honestly don't look at other setup's even though they should, they just jump to asking the questions right away.

There was a thread started that had the same concept of posting pics and specs of your setup but it really didn't help, people were still creating threads everyday!!!

Also a factor to consider is what kind of car feel do you want from your tires? Do you want neutral handling or do you want more oversteer or do you need to dial in more understeer.

If you plan on running staggered tires, then there is no reason you can't run staggered wheels even though some people will run equal size wheels with staggered tires still. Going with say 18x9.5+22 with a 265/35/18 all around and then adjusting the sway bars properly could give you a neutral handling feel, although a 265 is a little on the narrow side of the G/Z, but the grip level will be determined by power as well.

If you want to run max rubber up front, you'll want a 18x10 or a 18x9.5 with a 20-30mm offset range depending on if you go with 275/35 or 285/35 and you'll need some front camber adjustment to help you out depending on how low you are. You could then run the same sizes out back or you can of course go wider.

its tough to figure out. i find it easiest to find the tire you want, the size you think you need and then find the wheel that will allow it to work.

thats a shame, it was done rather successfully by Zilvia, but I think the admins and moderators played a larger roll.

Quick question I'm sure that's been asked thousands of times (maybe I'm not using the search engine correctly...), which are the best brand of spacers, and are they 'safe and effective', meaning are they reliable or is it feasible I'll be taking a corner and lose a wheel? I've heard horror stories, but want to hear from people who know the facts so I'm asking here.

I've been looking at spacers that are hub-centric that have built-in studs ie Ichiba V2 and Project Kics. I'm running OEM 19s with 235s up front and 255s in the rear...

ps Shane I know it's late but sick carbon fiber FI exhaust (and sick vids with the test pipes, it's the best sounding exhaust I've heard on a G so far,so I just ordered the same setup from Tony)

I'm assuming this is for autoX/road course racing. And ofcourse, this also assumes a fender roll. In that case, you're not going to want to run too much camber. Probably close to spec or just a little more.

If possible, I would do an 18x9.5 front with offsets ranging 17-22mm and 18x10.5 rear with offsets also in the 17-22mm. (IMO, this is a setup that would look nice enough, meaning not too tucked, and still be able to run enough rubber for the track). But then again, this also depends on what tire setup you are going with.

You're not going to want to run an aggressive offset on a track setup because you're probably going to want to run atleast 255 fronts and 285 rears.

hey quick question, i have 19" oem coupe forged rims on my 03 sedan with about a 1.2" drop with h&r sport springs. fronts tires are 225/40 and rears are 245/40, i was wondering if i should use spacers to get even wear on my tires? i have the spc front and rear camber kits already so i was wondering if spacers would help out more? and if it would what mm should i get?

I need some info, my tire guy is ordering some Vossen rims, for my G37X sedan the specs are as follow

20x9 with 245/35r20 tires for all four tires, but I'm not sure what offset should I go with, will 35+ be to much or should I go with 38+ or higher, the other thing is I was reading about getting the staggered look only keep everything the same by switching to O Disk rear on the rear, what does O disk mean and R disK for the fronts?, any help will be greatly appreciated.

The disk is the size of the mounting pad. for O the distance from the back of the hub, to the back of the spoke will be shorter than R.

Thanks for the fast responce ShanesG, so you think the width of the rims is fine, or should I go with 8.5 instead and what offset will be the right choice?.

I'll let someone with a sedan chime in on the offset as im not too familiar with what people run. the widths should be fine though!!!
