So, on my 07 sedan "X" Any new wheels i buy, do i absolutley have to have a 45 offset??? and what exactly is "offset"? Is it how much of the rim and tire are > in towards the center of the car< or, is more of the wheel and tire sticking out by the fenders?? And, in the near future, i would like to lower the car, does that mess up all these specs?? regards,,,,

I have OEM R18 & I`m planning to buy R17 for this winter.
The parameters are: 7,5 x 17.
But what offset should I buy - 30? 33? 40? 42? 45?
Different sources say different... I`m embarrased

(all G35 offsets are positive, as indicated by the "+" sign before the number)

will these rim size + tire size fit a 03 g35 coupe with m6 (brembo brakes)?
Fronts:
18x8.5
35 mm offset
235/40/18

Rears:
18x9.5
35 mm offset
265/35/18

if it doesn't, will a spacer make it work? and what size spacer should i get?

18" 5 split spoke (2005+ Sedan optional)
Front & Rear: 18"x7.5" (+45mm)

does anyone know off the top of their head how much these cost and or sell for? I think these are the wheels...

Hey, i'm pretty much a lamen in car talk. I got an 03 Coupe and I want to put 20X8.5s in the front and 20X10s in the back. I'm buying the wheels and tires separately, so how wide can I go on the rear wheel tires. I want to go with the Toyo Proxes 4 295/30/20, but would I be able to just throw those on and know they'll fit without doing any further modifications? The place I'm buying the rims from say they do 295s all the time on g35 coupes with no problems, but i want a 2nd opinion.

I am pretty sure the wheels in the picture are 17x7 from a 2004 sedan upgrade package. I was looking at a set of those so I am pretty sure, but ended up not getting them.

G35x

Hello, new to G35 Driver. I am looking for pics of 2007 up X models with rims that have not been lowered yet. I am trying to come up with a rim/tire setup that will fill the wheel well decently without lowering. I live in Pa an am thinking that with the snow we get, lowering may not be a good idea? Suggestions? I am thinking 19 X 8.5 35 offset and 245/40/19 so far. Thanks

Factory Configured

I have a 2005 G35x AWD with 17 inch rims AND it is also AUTOMATIC..is it true that AWD G's come with factory configured settings which would be thrown off if i were to get 18 or 19 inch rims?? Is there any negative consequence to getting larger rims on a G35x..it being AWD and all..might be a stupid question but i have to know

If your rolling diameter changes you will see your speedometer read differently, you may notice a change in acceleration and braking performance. If you get a wider offset and/or wider wheels, your alignment, while unchanged, may provide different handling characteristics due to changes in your scrub radius.

As far as negative consequences on reliability or warranty, no.

Can I put these on my 04 coupe? In the winter I don't particularly care how tucked in or Fugly they look.

-4x Dunlop 3D sports Winter tires (225/50/17)
Thanks in advance.
