My Fog Lights

Another CCFL mod...this time it's in my fog lights. I have both blue and green in there. Right now i only have the blue hooked up, but i plan on putting a switch in so that i can toggle between blue and green. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to run wire through the firewall (from the engine to inside the cabin)?

well here are some pics for you guys...enjoy.

oh i also swapped out my stock 4300k headlight bulbs for some 6000k bulbs. they're not ultinons, but they're still white. pics of comparison below.

Pretty cool. How do you go about doing this mod and how bright is the output of the fogs now?

It's really simple. Just take out the original fog light and replace with the ccfl tube. u have to cut the ends of the tube off because it is too long. then connect to the existing fog light wires.

The ouput of the lights to the ground will not be be as great as the original. This is purely an appearance mod, not a functionality (is this even a word?? ) mod. I did this because i never use my fogs and i didn't like the city light that was there. so now, the fog lights sort of act as the city light now, but i can turn them on or off whenever i want...or switch colors. IMO, I think fog lights should be at the lower part of the bumper...like some of the members here have done.

the blue/green looks good, illegal but good. The blue looks just like my Luminics 6000K pure blue H4 fogs.

I had blue-green parking lamps (in the headlamp assemblies) in my '98 Prelude, never got hassled, just compliments.

I love the yellow caps, where do you score those?

Be careful with the blue fogs. Only Police vehicles are supposed to have blue lights.
