Anyone have a wire tuck DIY?

I think a few of us were inspired by the awesome tucks in the SoCal Sedan GTG pics, does anyone have a wire tuck DIY or would they be willing to create one?

pull off your intake manifold. pull off the harnesses. Solder extensions on each wire in the harness so they are long enough to wrap hidden behind the the motor and not in the front. plug the harness back in. replace intake manifold.

If only it was as easy as that! lol it took me almost a week of back breaking work. I disassembled the whole front end of the car. (fenders, bumper, headlights) I did both headlight harnesses first, they needed to be stretched approx 6in in my case. (It will depend on where you drill the hole for the wires to run) Then the main harness took much longer as I sleeved every wire.

Mine took me a long time too. A lot of the wires on the main harness can be shortened and the side harnesses needed to be extended. Don't cut the MAF, TB or airbag wires.

^ yup forgot to metion that as well. I would suggest doing it in stages. Also take pics / label things to help you get it back together. It helped me big time when I depinned some plugs just to look at the pic on my camera real quick to see how it should go back together.

I didn't do the same wrap Danny did so it saved me a lot of time. I used the heat wrap woven loom that opens up so I didn't have to de-pin as much.

It's like your brake wire and A/C line tuck but with wires.

No it was a bad @ss idea.

You are about out of things to tuck but I am sure you will find something else. Might as well re-locate any overflow tanks to the hatch or something. LOL

Without getting into the job and specific questions I'm not sure what else to say. Every tuck is different as there are tons of options on where to move wires, what to cut, what not to cut, etc.
