I actually just recently saw the 2010 in person. Noticed that there is no way that the grille will work. I have got to say in person I love/hate the new design. When it comes to my grille.. I liked the midnight at first but the more I see a similar design on much cheaper cars it lead me away from it. Thinking about either keeping it stock and repainting/replace or blacking out the entire grille.

 

Ok Rick at Riverside...Update?!?! Did you get these in yet? Will the three LED corner fog fit our 07-09?

I'd like those side mirrors more if there wasn't a chrome outline around the lights. It's kind of disappointing to me that side mirrors with turn signals are pretty standard on cars now (and even the 20k Altima), but not on our G37s =(

 

Has anyone found a good source for these JDM accessories? Thanks.

 

Damn i really wish our G35 coupe's foglights were on the bumper... these fogs and LEDs are pretty damn nice. I'm jealous for the people who eventually get those!

 

Heading off to Japan in a few hours. Gotta get the wife to translate, but I'll see what I can find out. I want to look into the fog light addition to the 09S bumper or just exchange the headlights & bumper to 10-spec. That, and throw in the side-view mirrors.

From what I'm hearing the price of the OEM headlights and bumper is going to be nuts, so unless we really want fogs on our lower bumpers (which is correct ), maybe we should see if we can retrofit the fogs or just leds into our bumper.

The only thing I was planning to buy was Skyline badging, lol. You guys have any other hints/suggestions about my shopping trip?

 

I don't mind that Infiniti cut out (very few) unneeded features in order to give us a classy looking, 300+HP RWD (or AWD) vehicle that can run with sport coupes and sedans which easily cost >$10K more. Besides, IMO most true sports cars don't have signal lights in the mirrors. Leave that for the Escalades.
Should I go buy an Altima with it's turn signal mirrors or keep my G35...hmmmm?

 

Actually, on the 4-cylinder Altimas you have to get the SL and the convenience package to have the mirror turn signals. On the V6, I think it comes standard with the sport package. So you are looking at more like 26-27k.

Would be nice to have, but definitely not anything to lose sleep over for me.

Just arrived in Tokyo. Will head down to the local Nissan dealer and submit a few questions!

EDit: I don't believe what the Nissan rep told me. He claims '10 bumpers/headlights will not fit on '09s. I think something was lost in the translation. Perhaps the fine folks at Riverside Infiniti can get to the bottom of this. For the time being, supposedly going straight to the source is not much help...

 

Any new info on the turn signals?
