Mmmmm I like .

The cup kits you were talking about are from Phantom VIP right? Or is there something else out there that's cheaper/better? I'm already broke as **** and I really don't want to spend any more money. From what I've seen it's going to cost me 4k or so if I want a cup kit + coils.

Yea those guys. I saw their demonstration out in Austin. Cool bunch of people. But I'm in the same boat as you. I don't really wanna dump 4k into some suspension right now.

Haha yeah, they look pretty good but for 4k. I'd rather go with bags and coils instead of coils + cup kit. I think I'll just either go with coils with a e-controller or the UAS, which seems to be catching a lot of eyes now.

Im in the same situation as you. Tired of scraping everywhere and looking into a suspension setup that would let me adjust ride height instantly. Im running stance coilovers as of now.

I have heard of UAS but i am not a fan of air ride. I was looking into something that would not sacrifice performance for ride height adjustability on the fly.

Any of you guys care to chime in and educate me on some of the other options?

Thanks.

-Tom

If you have money I would go with coils + UAS.

Sorry to be ignorant but can you please elaborate on how exactly the UAS would work over a coilover setup? I know i would have to make room for all of the components...

Wow didn't expect the reaction lol..I consider my car mediocre compared to what some of you guys are running and posted up in this thread. Thanks for all the compliments, I learned my whole setup by basically checking this thread out consistently. Shane's, Dre's, Jason's, Levon's and Robzone's cars were my first inspiration to do aggressive setups (probably goes without saying). Sleek, Hotelcrazy and Lunek also among my favorite OBs. Without you guys running these setups and pushing the limit, I wouldn't have mine so thanks to you all!

Now to answer some of your questions..

Wheel specs
Work Vsxx Burning Black
20x9.5 -7 (plus 15mm spacer to clear bbk) = -22 effective offset
20x11 -1 (no spacer needed to clear)

Tire specs
225/30/20
255/30/20

No camber settings yet..alignment scheduled for tomorrow.

Fenders rolled flat front and rear by none other than Shane.

Lowered on Tein Flex, front can go down some more but rear is maxed out (springmount cut and collar removed)

As for rubbing issues, the front rubs going into a turn but it's most likely due to my alignment being way off. After I fix it tomorrow, maybe flare the front a tiny bit and up the stiffness that should be the end of that.

Here's a few more I thought were eh but whatever

you could go cup kit, similar to the top secret/roburta ones.

Interesting...seems like theres not too many of these around. Can you guys point me in the right direction for some more info? Maybe even a review by someone that has owned them and tried/tested them first hand. That would be even better!

Thanks.
