Question for the OP... What is covered? bumper to bumper? powertrain?? This is vital information that should not be overlooked since it plays a role on pricing.

Hi guys,

I called Courtney and she quoted me this " If you go with a $0 deductible your cost is $1502, $50 ded is $1370, and a $100 ded is $1265"

My car is an 03 g35 sedan with 68k miles. I read the quotes from the OP but it may differ because his car is newer or am I getting screwed???

It's prob a combo of your miles, your year, and the fact that you're now out of the factory bumper to bumper. I'd say what she quoted sounds pretty good for what you've got.

I just got my extended warranty from Courtney about 1 month ago. I have an '05 and at the time had 29K miles, still under factory bumper to bumper. Picked up a 3yr/36k extension w/ 0 deductible for roughly $850. I was quoted around 1500-1800 elsewhere, so she's got the hook-up and is very pleasant to deal with.

thanks bjquinnIUmed,

I think that may be it too. I hear the warranty is very good. Has anyone had any problems when attempting to use it??

I also purchased an Elite extended warranty from Courtney about 1 month ago. My experience working with her was very positive and straight forward. She's extremely professional and her pricing is very competitive. If you have any questions or are thinking about purchasing one, I highly reccomend that you consider dealing with her.

Talking

I just purchased an Inf Extended Warranty from Courtney based on the references in the G35 Driver threads. Turns out she is on Nico and one other one too. It couldn't have been easier. She was very professional with no BS. She presented all the available options and pricing for my car (which the local Sewell Dallas rep did not-she only offered one). Her pricing was at least $400 less than the Sewell quote. I say at least because the Sewell rep didn't bother to mention deductibles. I have a 2005 G35x, purchased 12/04 with 53k miles. 0 ded 3/36 for 1632 otd.

Sorry for bringing up a couple of month old thread, but wanted to alert everyone, since they may find this thread through search.

First, Courtney is great, with great prices and easy to deal with. Highly recommend.

One thing everyone should know about the Infinity Elite plan is that the brochure is very misleading. It claims almost everything is covered, and only lists a few exceptions (carpet, glass, soft trim, etc) and normal wear items such as brakes, clutch, etc.. I got a warranty claim denied (7 days out of factory, but in Inifiniti Elite Extended warranty) because although my issue was to a covered part, it was a wear issue and not a "mechanical breakdown". No where in the brochure does it mention mechanical breakdown only, but this language is very specific in the actual contract. In fact, in many ways, the brochure language and contract language exactly mirror each other. Except that the contract adds the language around mechanical breakdown and specifically excludes wear (added into the other language that is a carbon copy between the two). In fact, since almost all the language about what is covered and not covered is exactly the same between the two, except for one sentence on wear and a few on Mechanical breakdown, I'm convinced Infiniti is purposely trying to mislead customers. Why else would they use the same language except for a few very significant omissions?

The contract itself says that if you have degraded performance, but not a breakdown, it's not covered. So if something works, but not properly, it will be a crapshoot. If your 300hp engine is down to 200hp, the fix is not covered.

My specific issue is the steering wheel is peeling again (replaced 1.5 years ago under warranty). The claim from Infiniti Customer Service is that since the steering wheel still steers the car, there is no breakdown. They are clearly correct. However, the brochure doesn't state this is the litmus test and specifically lists the steering wheel as a COVERED part.

So this is NOT a mirror of the factory bumper to bumper, as I (and many others) had this replaced on the factory warranty but I can't get it replaced under the Elite Extended warranty.

On a side, note, I'm fighting with Infiniti now because the problem occurred and I made my appointment for service during the factory warranty, but due to my and the dealers schedule, the service itself happened a week outside the warranty. They are calling me back next week to see where we go from here.

^^ oh snap son lol. Thats really lame actually, ive had a similar issue with an extended warranty for my old pontiac GXP. They wrote it in such a way that certain important(and expensive things) are ommited.

Gotta love the "jargon" they use.

Are you sure you are covered for 9 years? On page 3 of your pdf document:

Get long-term protection beyond your vehicle’s Limited Warranty with coverage for up to 7 years/100,000 miles with no limit on the number of claims for covered repairs.

I got a quote from Courtney however she said I would have to get the car inspected at a local Nissan/Infiniti dealer.
She told me that it's fine that I just got out of powertrain warranty in July 2011 and that she can still get it extended.

I called Infiniti about the inspection price. While I was on the phone with her I asked her to give me a quote also. She said I can't get "Infiniti" warranty because my factory warranty already expired.. I kept telling her another dealer is doing it for me and she was confused and said I don't think they can do that. Then she said she called Infiniti and they said the same, that I would have to still have factory warranty in order to extend.

How many of you got extended "Infiniti" warranty through Courtney and your factory warranty was already expired?

Also my main reason for getting this is because I have a Rev-up motor and want to be covered for any oil consumption issues.
Anyone have a oil consumption motor replaced under the Infiniti extended warranty?

Thanks!

I purchased my Elite extended warranty after my basic warranty had expired but before my power train had.

Nonetheless, if Courtney will sell you the warranty then you really shouldn't worry. Remember this warranty is backed by Infiniti, not a 3rd party company. Once its on paper, its a legally binding contract.

I purchased over 2 years ago I did it mostly for peace of mind considering my car is equipped with every option the factory offered.

I think I have gotten full use of it. Below is a list of items I had replaced (and the frequency in parenthesis) at no cost to me:

Control arm (1)
Engine mount (1)
Driver's seat track (2)
Bose radio (1)
IPDM (1)

I also had the car towed for free when the IPDM failed and my car wouldn't start.

Currently my airbag light is flashing and I expect that to be addressed, with no damage to my wallet.

I got my 4 year Elite warranty while my car was under the factory warranty and I had 23,000 miles. I have less than 5 months left (48,000 miles) and so far have done the following:

1) front driver's side ball joint (entire spindle was replaced)
2) third brake light
3) valve cover gasket
4) both rear wheel bearings

I will be bringing my car in for a CD changer replacement prior to the end of the policy. That is a $1500 job right there!

This can't be right. If you look above at treacherous' post, there is a copy of the Infiniti service agreement. Under the "pre-owned plans" section, there is eligibility for vehicles up to 100k miles. With the options and mileages available what you were told sounds like bs.
