Talking Silencer_0's Vortech build

Hey guys, after being in a car accident a couple months ago and eating into my Vortech fund, I finally saved up enough money (again) to start my Vortech build. It's nothing too exciting, sort of a typical, conservative build.

My car is an 07 5AT coupe with about 31k miles
Relevant mods currently installed:

Motordyne Shockwave V2 TDX
Motordyne ART pipes
Motordyne 5/16th ISO-thermal spacer
Motordyne MREV2
Sean's grounding kit
TransGo valve body kit
3.7 FD w/VLSD
Osiris tuned

Parts I currently have waiting to be installed:

Walbro 255lhp fuel pump
Deatschwerks 600cc injectors
NGK 1-step colder spark plugs
Strafespeed 1-piece intake pipe

Parts on order which I should be receiving in about a week or so:

Vortech V3 tuner kit, polished
3.12 pulley
GTM tensioner pulley
80 1/8th" napa/gates belt

Parts I'll be purchasing before the kit install:

Transmission cooler
Oil cooler
Defi Temp/Boost Gauges
AEM EUGO wideband A/F gauge

The car will be retuned at Church Automotive. Ironically, I'm really not an aggressive driver, so I'll be happy to pass 350 whp. Since this is my daily driver, I will leave it up to Shawn Church to decide how much to push the car, safely.

I plan on installing the kit myself, even though the hardest thing I've installed on my car myself was my isothermal spacer, lol. I've read the installation manual a couple times already and it seems pretty straightforward, I'm confident I won't have too much trouble with it (hopefully ). I've also read over the Vortech FAQ thread on my350z twice, very helpful thread.

A couple things I'm not too sure about and would appreciate some help.
- Is the 80 1/8th" belt the correct length for the 3.12 pulley and GTM pulley?

- Will it be safe to drive around for a couple days with the Walbro pump installed, before installing everything else and getting retuned? I read, if properly installed, the pump should function as normal and I should be ok.

- Will it be safe to drive around for about 200 miles with the pump, injectors, plugs, and kit installed, without being retuned? I plan to remove the cog belt, so it should drive as NA. I've also read that as long as I don't push the car, keep it under 3k RPM, I should be ok until my time to retune, just that the car will run super rich.

I'd like to thank Dustin from Strafe for pretty much all of the parts for the build and excellent customer service, R&J who'll be installing some of the parts, binder and bigc for all of the awesome info they've posted here and on my350z.

I'll be updating the thread with pics and eventually a video of the dyno when they happen. Sorry for the long read!

Good stuff, Fab! I thought your car was a beast after installing your transGo... It's gonna be a whole new animal after you boost it!

Rides nice. Thinking of reinstalling the OEM exhaust behind the TP to quiet it down a little., and there's a traction issue in the first 3 gears.

I'm curious to see how the Vortech will affect the sound of my exhaust too. Haha, I'm sure there is with that much torque.
