ZENCLOSURE sub box owners opinion needed...

hey guys. i have another thread going asking to see if anyone is selling their sub box's. anyway i had a question:

i checked zenclosure sub boxes on ebay for g35 coupes but im afraid it's not enough airspace for my subs. i have 2 10" phoenix gold tantrums.

im just going on what my shop is telling me: theyre pushing me on a custom made 1.25qf box while zenclosure has 0.7 cu ft. they could just want me to spend an extra 350 or i really do need more airspace.

so anyones thats got the zenclosure 2 10" sub box id like to hear from you on how you think your setup sounds!

thanks!!

I don't have that box specifically, but I built my own that's based on that design. I tried to get as much airspace I could. I calculated about .95cuft. I had 2 Image Dynamics IDQ10 and the low bass response just wasn't cutting it for me. I had to remove one of the subs and seal up the hole and it sounds much better.

The IDQs require the least amount of space that I've seen for a 10" sub and it still didn't sound right to me.
