Comparing mods is idiotic, especially for your autotragic with the mods/wheels you've owned vs. mine. Your attempts at insults = FAIL.

You bought tire sizes based on what is recommended for the stock 19's? Those are 19x8/19x8.5, you Rhodes scholar. Do a search on the forums, noob, and see what tire sizes are recommended for 19x8.5/19x9.5 wheels.

Nobody cares that you overpaid. Do a search and see what they've gone for in the past on the forums. You think you can sell your used set for the same as or more than a NEW set? Since you're such a baller in your own mind, I'm glad they don't take up much room in your garage, as they'll be decorating it for quite awhile.

.....You're about to hit "reply" aren't you? Can't wait to see what other amazing insults a MENSA member like yourself can bring to the table.

Uh you do realize the tire size for 19 x 9.5 rims have a tire size 245/35/19 right? Scroll up to the VOLK TE37's for sale and look at the tire size on his 19 x 9.5 rims. You really do need some glasses. He has 275/35 on his 10.5's. My rear's are 9.5 and I have 245/40. Don't continue this argument it clearly isn't working for you. The only thing you complain about is price which you don't have the ***** to make an offer on so just sit in your corner and keep drooling.

You kinda remind me of this girl

Make an offer. Where are you going to buy those rims for 600 new btw? Tirerack closed out on them. 2800 is what I asked 888 just made remarks that weren't factual. Preludeonline people would list a price and even if you didn't want to pay what they asked for you made some sort of offer as part of a negotiation. Is anyone willing to ship Wheels and tires btw on this forum? I would appreciate replies that are serious only.

Oh btw mister smarty pants go to tirerack which you once again forget your glasses to notice that there are FEWER than two 19 x 10.5 and the wheel is on CLOSEOUT hahaha ain't that a bitch? Both wheels were originally 609/wheel for the front and 649/wheel for the rear. Oh and about the tire size here ya go directly from tirerack since you can't read.

Matched tire sets for 2004 Infiniti G35 Coupe Base Model
Front: 225/40-19
Rear: 245/40-19

NOTE: Tread patterns must often be tuned to accommodate different tire widths. While tires shipped will match your order's specifications, photos used only represent typical sizes.

Not agreeing or disagreeing with anyone here, but if one wants to throw out the facts as they are, then you/they have to use them all as they are presented.

1: Nobody disputes you paid $600+ per wheel. Lets say $2700 shipped.
A: That doesn't mean that you can get anywhere NEAR that once they are used. (Probably 1500 tops)
B: The thing is however, it is VERY CLEAR that they can be purchased now for far, far less than what you paid. (The market is, what the market is.)
C: This means in the 'real-world' you would have to accept what a used wheel that originally cost, the (closeout price) would sell for. MEANING the fronts would be WAY less than $259 each and the rears would be WAY less than $459 each.
D: You cannot suggest that just because Tire Rack is showing "less than 2" for the rears in your specific color, although they have more in other colors ( in both 9.5 offsets as well as the 10.5 size) that the updated prices would not be relevant. The NEW prices are what the wheels are selling for, period. If they are advertising them for that price, then that's the price to go by. Sorry....

2: Now let us address the tire sizes that you chose to select for 8.5 and 9.5 rims. Going on to state the OEM tire sizes as the recommended sizes for the newer LARGER rims. (The OEM rims are 8.0 and 8.5.)
A: With OEM size rims you would INDEED use 225/40's on the front and 245/40's on the rear.
B: You however have 8.5 rims on the front and 9.5 rims on the rear.
C: Again, as you have stated quoting TireRack that specific tires go with specific rims. Let's look at what they actually recommend for the 8.5 and 9.5 rims.

Front Fitment
19x8.5
Original Price: Now 60% Off: $609 (each)
$239 Closeout
Offset: 32mm

Backspacing: 5.90"
Bolt Pattern: 5-114
Rec. Tire Size: 245/35-19
Weight: 21.0lbs.

Rear Fitment
19x9.5
Original Price:$665 (each)Now 30% Off:$459 Closeout
Offset: 45mm

Backspacing: 6.92"
Bolt Pattern: 5-114
Rec. Tire Size:275/35-19
Weight: 21.5lbs.

D: It is clear now that using 225/40 and 245/40 tires are not recommended for the widenend wheels. This is unless you want to 'stretch' the tires. Or perhaps (as some know) stretching is needed due to the car being dropped and one is trying to keep from having the tires rub.

4: Now being as you are indeed selling the rims WITH tires, nobody and I mean NOBODY wants to to short you on the price you would get for the tires themselves. And BTW on the tire choice! Most wouldn't pay for the for the Michelin PS2's, they would buy a cheaper tire.

However, if your buying PS2's to fit your new rims, (that you paid $2700 for) why not buy the size that the rims are calling for?

5: Look... right now the rims can be bought for $1396, NEW. (Even if from TireRack you might have to go with a different color on them whether you go with 9.5's or 10.5's in the rear.) Nobody is going to give nowhere near that for used ones. That's not me, that is simply the fact when selling used rims.

I digress however. Back to the tires. Going with a set of BRAND NEW PS2's in the sizes you have (again, cudo's on the tire choice) The shipped price to Chicago is $1352.06 for the tires. The price for the rims are $1437.89, again shipped to Chicago. So at the end of the day, you have a GRAND TOTAL of $2789.95.
This isn't for used tires, used wheels, used anything. Everything is all new and ready to go, AND for less than $2800.00.

6: Back to your ad, which is why we're all here to begin with. Nobody would say you're wheels are not schweet! They are extremely clean, and personally I like the 9.5's on the rear. I can't say I've seen cleaner wheels for sale in this forum, ever.

A: One problem however is stretching the tires. They will begin to wear on the outside edges before the middle, can't help it the way the carcass is built when the sidewalls are stretched outwards.

7: Finally, let's be honest and just say that given the price you paid for your setup has nothing to do with what it will sell for now. Given the wheels are and have been closed out, and similar SSR models can be bought for the same closeout prices then one has to figure in the new price when looking at purching on the USED market.
A: Typically as I am sure you are aware, used wheels go for perhaps 40% of new. The problem in your situation is they've reduced the price after you purchased them, the used market is killing what you could have gotten if you sold them 6~8 months ago.
B: And of course used tires bring even less than used wheels. Everyone on the forum would agree that they've seen tires with 1000 miles on them bring maybe 20%~30% TOPS of what the new prices were.

And here we are at the end...
If you REALLY want to sell your wheels and tires, I/we wish you the best of luck. But you need to be realistic and listen to offers that are out there. Considering less than $2800 new.... Getting $1680 is 40% off, anything more is a gift... I'd take the money and run.

Again, good luck with the sale on a set of VERY clean wheels.
