Brand New Nitto's

I have A PAIR meaning just (Two) Nitto Neo-Gen's
that were used for litterally ~100 miles before I got new rims/tires.

I paid around $120.oo per tire with shipping for these and they are excellent
quality tires. Looking for at least $75-80 per tire (shipping included).

TIRE SIZE: 225/40/ZR18; Also, if someone is looking for some junkies,
I will sell the rear tires for dirt cheap because they are pretty worn but
still have decent tread. Those are Sumitomo HTR Z-II's. 245/40/ZR18.

Thanks for looking.

Are you sure they are 225/40 and not 225/45?
Let me know--interested. Thanks!

......to the top

So... they're really 225/40 and not 225/45?

G Nasty23 Jun 9, 2009 11:35 AM

Yes, these are 40 profile.

s14_2Nv Jun 9, 2009 02:25 PM

Just curious, but why wouldn't you run OEM sizing?

G Nasty23 Jun 11, 2009 11:15 AM

They were on aftermarket rims... just wanted a lower profile for a
better look. There is almost no difference at all in 40 and 45 profile,
so Im not sure why people are making this a big deal... lol

They're making a big deal because there's a very large difference between a 225/45 and a 225/40. You can "lol" all you want, but the 225/40 is about 9/10ths of an inch smaller in diameter than a 225/45, and that's more than enough to cause the VDC to kick in on a regular basis.

G Nasty23 Jun 13, 2009 02:25 PM

^^ Thanks for the free bump and the attitude... I appreciate
your unnessacary input BUDDY. VDC never once kicked in with
them, and im now running 245/35 and 275/35 and VDC still never
"kicks" in on a regular basis, or at all for that matter.

BTW nice stock sedan.

BuckeyeInMI Jun 13, 2009 05:09 PM

I don't have an attitude, I'm just presenting a valid reason why someone might make a big deal out of it. If someone is running a stock 245/45-18 in the rear of their Coupe, then running a 225/40-18 in the front will probably cause some problems. The reason it didn't for you is because you were running a small tire in the rear as well.

Your current setup is downright ridiculous. The rears are more than 4% smaller than stock diameter, and the fronts are almost 5% smaller. May not affect the VDC, but your speedo and odo are going to be off.

And the Sedan isn't stock. But a nice, feeble attempt at an insult. If you need to do that to boost your self-esteem, perhaps you should think about therapy.

G Nasty23 Jun 14, 2009 11:35 AM

Yeah my speedometer is deffinately not off, but Im not going to
sit here and argue with someone over the internet. Thanks for the free
bumps, if your not interested please leave the thread for those who are....

BuckeyeInMI Jun 16, 2009 03:01 AM

Here's your "free" bump, but ...

... you're either lying or you aren't aware of it being off. Speedometers don't just magically adjust to tires that are 4-5% smaller than they were originally designed to work with. But whatever, blissfully ignorant is probably not a bad way to go through life.

TIRES FOR SALEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Believe it or not, this thread is for the selling of tires, not argueing..

(Bump)

just curious, ur running the 35 profile tires on 18" wheels? if they're 19s then it all makes sense lol just wondering cause if so yalls arguement could all be more pointless then it already is :)

*free bump*
