where are you located? and what kind of labor quote did you receive?

I'm in the Glendale/Pasadena area, I was quoted from several places between $80-90 for labor.

wow, that's some quote. Have you tried to install it by yourself? there are couple DIY..

Tell me about it, well I've seen only one, but do you know any more DIY's. I know I'm capable of doing it myself, I just don't want to mess up the connection of the wires and plugs.

Dude. This is one of the easiest mods you can do. DIY in under 60mins. http://myg35mods.com/tutorials/ipod/index.html. Save your money. I've installed and reinstalled this thing 5 times now.

if you drive down to long beach, ill do it for 20 bux and teach you how to do it.

its very easy, just be patient. I did mine in under an hr

It's very easy. Took me about 40 minutes and I had my car for about 3 days when i did it.
