where's the best spot to ground your amps?

please post pics if possible... just wanna have an idea of where most of you are grounding your amps at...

i have the JL ground lug, but have no idea how to install that thing and i'm too afraid to drill into my car...

i wish i had a picture...

when i installed my amp, i had it grounded near the back. pictures would be worth a thousand words.

basically, when you drop the rear seat down and pull up the carpet from the trunk, you'll see a relay. you'll notice a hole there that you can fit a couple of fingers through. i drilled a hole near that hole. sanded down the paint and used a nut and bolt and secured the ground there.

this way you can see where you are drilling. it's a bit tough to get the nut in the back, but you can do it. just be careful you don't drop it.

only other thing to consider is that the ground cable is less than 18 inches and is of adequate gauge.

there might be easier and better places, but that's how i did it.

Just be a little care drilling around the rear area..People tend to forget about the gas tank. I've seen people tap a screw into one and the check engine lights goes on...Evap. leak...
