07 G35 double din install
07 G35 double din install
I've read alot on when installing a aftermarket HU you have to solder some LED's from the stock A/C controller on to the aftermarket A/c controller, now is that the same with the 07 G35s? I have no BOSE or anything of that kind i purchased the most Base G35 so i wouldn't have to worry about losing any of those expensive features. I saw a kit on ebay from Riverside and it didn't mention any soldering or anything neither did Grubbs. This would really help me in deciding if i should or should not get an aftermarket HU. also is there any kind of caradapter for a aftermarket HU to connect to a Microsoft Zune??

If you don't have dual climate control, you don't have to solder any LED or button when you install the new AC controller.
The only adapters I am aware of for HU's are for the iPod.
so basically all i need to do is get the double din dash kit and the a/c controller right? and when i do the install i just plug the a/c controller in and everything should be fine right? now is there any wiring harness i need?
The AC harness will plug in.
You should get the Nissan wire harness plugs and the Nissan antenna adapter too. If you want to retain your steering wheel controls, get the PAC-audio steering wheel interface for your HU.

so all i need to retain steering wheel audio functions is the nissa wire harness an antenna and pac-audio wheel interface right. where do i get the wheel interface at?

You need to know how to disassemble the dash, remove the old HU, install the new HU, get it working and get the dash back together.
Do you have the Bose system? If so, have you determined how you are connecting the new HU to it?
