ATT: if you're pulling your bose headunit off, please come here

In the back of the bose head unit, you'll find four white connectors.

On the top right connector, the one marked X in the above diagram, can someone please tell me what the order of the 6 wires are? I accidentally pulled off the 6 wires yesterday.

I would really appreciate it - thanks

Are you saying that you pulled the wires from the clip? And also do you have Navigation?

g00 Oct 15, 2007 10:39 AM

yea i pulled the wires from the clip. i was having a hell of a time yesterday pulling it off, but now that everything is off, i can see how easy it is to actually pull out. i wasn't pressing down on the correct section of the clip.

i have an 03 5/AT coupe with no NAV

Okay let me see if I can help you out. Is it the clip for the radio or for the AC?

g00 Oct 15, 2007 10:42 AM

i'm still very new at all of this so i'm not exactly sure what it is. i do know it's on the top right and it had 6 wires in it.

i can go down to my car in my parking garage and look at the wires to find out what colors they are if that helps

g00 Oct 15, 2007 10:43 AM

come to think of it, it's definitely not the AC clip

the AC clip didn't plug into the back of the headunit

Hi-TechG35 Oct 15, 2007 10:49 AM

Okay. I don't know how good at reading schematics you are but see if this can help you out

thanks for the upload.

i dropped by a local infiniti dealership earlier and they were absolutely no help, almost rude actually.

on my way home, i stopped by a best buy store and they gave me the replacement clip with attached wires for free. i'm going to try to make sense out of the wiring schematic. if this doesn't work, i'm just going to take it somewhere and get it installed. but it feels like a waste to do so seeing how i'm almost done

G00:

I suggest that you take a look at the wires color and match it up with the diagrams (M41 for example which has the same configuration). They should tell you exactly which pin number to wire belong to.

Good luck

Goo no problem. Let me know how everything turns out. i would take my dash out and snap some pics for you but it is to damn cold up here right now...lol

Can you guys help me figure out this chart?

Here's the wiring diagram and clip

Here's a picture of the wires in the car; sorry about the poor picture quality. i took the photo with my phone

Here's what i'm thinking

BR = brown
Y = yellow
G/Y = ?
L =
P = Purple

The earth wire doesn't specify a color, but if i can figure out the other 5, i won't have a problem

The problem is, i see the following colors in my car: red, blue, green, brown, yellow, and gray
