Passenger window doesn't go up??
I've heard this is a common problem w/ a lot of '03 and 04 G35 coupe's. My window just doesn't go up...ive heard it might be a recall issue..but not sure.. has anyone encountered the same issue and found a solution?

Is it not going up at all? Usually if you hold the button and close the door with some force it will go up. I took the motor out and took it apart and blew air into it with my compressor and so far its been 4-5 weeks no problem

It's not a recall issue, but it's pretty common, especially for the driver's door. If your car is still under warranty, take it in to have the motor replaced.

if you're under warrantee, get it replace since i think it is a warrantee fix. I believe the '04+ motors are much better quality. I just bought a replaced mine myself. Not terribly hard. It was just ghetto having to hold down the button and banging the door handle each time. Plus, the glass auto slide up when you close the door, and when the motor isn't functioning, you might not get a tight seal and water may get in.

i have encountered the same problem various times, all i have to do is pull up the window manualy a little bit and it will work just fine. :dunno:

my 05 sedan had this problem, warranty fixed it

i just had this problem about 20 mins ago. my driver side window was rolled down and i went to roll it up... nothing. i was like, WTF? so i banged on my door on various spots and it worked again. ive bee having a rattle in my door lately... i think its time to take it off and investigate. i would take it to the dealer, but the problem more than likely wont happen when i take it there since dealerships are usually cursed with good luck when taking a car there for a rattle, rare occuring noise or malfunction. thoughts....?
