I'm going crazy here - PA11NIS + SAT

So after long hours of reading, I decided to go with the PA11-NIS cable for my ipod install. But I have OEM Sat radio installed on Bose system. I found different people saying different things re: units installed with sat and such. My eyes are crosseyed now becuase of all the threads I searched and I just don't know whats right anymore. So to set the record straight:

1: Will PA11-NIS cable work on stock 04 coupe Bose system with OEM SAT radio installed

2: Where can I find instructions on how to install PA11-NIS cable on 04 couple with Bose system and OEM SAT. (because crutchfield says there are no install instructions for his cable + my car)

3: Is my SAT unit worthless after this install?

4: Will I need to reset my radio after the install?

Thanks

i believe the SAT plug will be removed bcuz the PA11 plug will be there to replace it.. so SAT will be useless

You don't need anything else alyaat. I just installed the PA11 on Friday with no more help than what I found on this board. It was a very easy install! It just takes patience. Make sure you follow the instructions on how to disassemble your dash to get to the back of the radio so that you dont break anything. Otherwise all you do is unplug 2 harnesses from the back of the radio, plug in the 2 male harnesses from the PA11, then plug the larger harness that you had unplugged from the back of the stereo into the only unused plug on the PA11. Hope this makes sense but if it doesn't, just take your dash apart, pull your stereo out, look at the back of it and if you have any sense whatsoever you can figure out what goes where....it's that easy!
Good luck! :thewave:
