What wiring kit?
 

Alright guys, I'm going to add a sub to my g35 coupe with bose. I am using the DIY on how to do it. The only question is what wiring kit should I buy? I have an Alpine Type R 10" and an Alpine mrp-m500 amp. Please include every wire I need so I don't start it and end up missing something. Thanks guys!

i use streetwires 4guage their nice and thick my friend bought his 4guage from online site wire is like **** its like a 8guage barely any wire...

Where should I buy that? Is there anywhere I can buy a whole kit with everything I need? Can someone please list What kit to buy and what it includes.

people will bash it and say that the KLM isnt flexable,but it is, ive run the 8,4, and 0ga with no problems

if you wanna spend a little more get the flex kit, but audibly you will not notice a diffrance.

That amp pulls like 40-50amp of max current right??
The 4ga would work perfect, you could get by with an 8ga kit but might as well do a 4ga

Get a 4 gauge kit. Stinger makes some great stuff.

4awg will handle up to 150A, 8awg is usually fine for most amps (and probably in this case too), but people generally run 4awg just to have the ability to add in the future. Don't run anything bigger than that unless you upgrade your vehicle's grounding system.

What about those Scosche wiring kits I see at walmart? Would those work? I would like to preferably buy one in store so I can start my install this weekend.

Kicker PKD-4. I'll never use any wire other than Kicker, unless it's Pear Cable, Kimber Kable, or Tara Labs.

Scosche wiring from Wal-Mart would probably work, but its decent. I like the Kicker, because it is VERY flexible and they use tinned copper. Copper is a much better conductor than other metals.

If you do buy something from a store, be ready to pay a grip more than what you can find it online.

the schoshe kit is ok but do not use the fuse holder they give you, ive had one melt on me, you will not know it melted untill you open the hood to find a nice plastic mold on your fender/body.

i think they have a monster kit at walmart also

if you can wait do the knu kit,it has EVERYTHING you need.If you need one today do the scoshe but get a name brand fuse holder.
The rockford and kicker kits are both really good and really flexable.
