$250 on ebay for re-manufactured one. 03/04 cd players go out all the time.. so don't be too alarmed about it.. DIY instruction somewhere on this board.. search for it... Those USB/MP3/IPOD things are $150.. i would get those.. |
where can i pick up an ipod plug wire for my glove box to work with the stock radio?

^^ thanks a lot,,, i appreciate the help,,, wheres a good place to hide the grom box?
is there a thread here for how to do the install? |
Never seen anyone here using that box, but it looks pretty good. Install should be as simple as removing the factory stereo, plugging that thing in, and routing the wire from the glove box to the back of the stereo (flashlight and a wire hanger makes finding a path and feeding the wire pretty easy).

i was thinking bout using the one from g35parts before i knew about this one... this looks a lot easier to install,, and its cheaper :)
|
personally i would wire it to my armrest..
or i guess if you don't have a factory NAV.. you could put it into that secret spot.. i personally don't have the device.. buy it, try it out and let us know how it works. |
before i sold my coupe it had the factory ipod wire in the armrest... ima put there
when i get this thing set up ill make sure to put the pics up fore now i got the tape player wire....(thank you technology! (in borats accent)) |
