i was looking at this on ebay.. is this good to buy? http://cgi.ebay.com/Pioneer-Bypass-Automatic-Hack-AVH-P3200BT-AVH-P3200DVD-/180568859238?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a0abe2266

No.

Search youtube, there's free bypasses that usually involve only moving a wire on most Pioneer units.

Otherwise, it's wiring up a relay, which involves just as much wiring at that thing you linked to.

Updated 26 Dec.

Still getting some people with 05-07s getting poor quality audio with the Bose system and the 70-7551 harness, so I've changed it so that all years with Bose are recommended to use the PAC ROEM-NIS2.

ok so i plugged in the harness and everything.. video is ok but i'm not getting any sounds from the cd or radio.. am i missing something here? help!!

My guess is that you did not connect both the amp remote power signal and the antenna amp power signals to the single power signal wire coming from your headunit.

How old is this unit? I can't think of a modern pioneer unit that doesn't use the 3.5mm.

Then it has a 3.5mm hole on it for wired (steering wheel) remote in addition to the 2.5?mm hole for the microphone.

It's in the righthand side when looking at the back. Labeled remote. http://images.sonicelectronix.com/im...avhp3200bt.jpg

^^
Use the parts in there, hook the a/v input to the output from your avic.

OK, so Ive been looking through here and sorry if I missed this if it was answered already. I bought everything on your shopping list with one exception of the steering wheel controls. I purchased a Clarion unit ( ) and the only thing I am a little fuzzy on is when it comes to wiring everything in, I know there are 4 connectors on the back of my stock unit, 2 of them for the bose, the main connector for the factory unit (im assuming) and the steering controls. (again assuming) and I know the PAC unit integrates with the bose amp which is what i want to do. My question is, I want to know if there is a harness I can get that will keep me from having to cut any wires for the main harness to the stereo? or will one of the other items on your shopping list take care of that? Does my question make sense? If it makes a diff, I have an 03 coupe

You'll have to cut wires for the steering wheel controls in order to get a solid connection, all the others wires connect to the appropriate harness, no cutting required.

Also, if you're afraid to cut wires, you may want to re-think doing it yourself.
