Pioneer AVH-P4300DVD won't Power On
Guys this is a fresh installation of the radio in my car. It is a 2003 G35 6MT. It is equipped with a Bose system. I have all of the connections on the wiring harness right I believe.
I bought a Metra wiring harness. I don't know if it is the right one though. The store checked the computer to see if it was the right one and it said that it was. The harness only has 2 plugs but when I connect everything, I still have an extra plug that has about 4 wires on it left over. I don't know what to do. I am irritated as **** and I want the damn radio in the car to work. Can someone offer any help? I don't know what else to do. The Radio is a Pioneer AVH-P4300DVD The Wiring Harness is a Metra 70-7550 I just did some research and found out that someone else used a Metra 70-7551 instead of a 70-7550. Could that have been the problem? |
The leftover plug is the one with the speed sensor, two steering wheel control wires and a reference ground.
As for it not powering up, there's always the chance that if you didn't disconnect the power at the battery, you just blew the fuse when wiring it up. |
