G35 2006 Sedan Bose Subwoofer Help
I ran a subwoofer and amp and the installer used a Line out converter, tapped into the factory sub to get a signal but I removed my system and connected the 2 wires that he cut ,but when I reconnect back the sub speaker wires "black/white" it's like the sub barely moves there is power just not that boom I once had l, can anyone help me thank
Maybe is the subwoofer went bad? Worked flawless before the LOC

What I'm saying though is you need to have your wires MECHANICALLY fastened together, either with solder, a crimp, heck even a wirenut if that's all you have. A twisted connection like that is NEVER going to hold trust me. Stranded wire unravels almost immediately, it won't matter if you have it taped there needs to be somethings physically mating the wire together.

Properly twisted wires will hold together forever unless something pulls it apart.

Lol no it won't, I do this for a living, I give it a month or two MAX, in worst case it might only hold a week. You need something to BOND the circuit or you will have either very high resistance or very low surface area. One will give a poor/weak signal, the other will generate excess heat.

So I got the sub to play but it doesn't sound the same ,compare to when it wasn't cut I'll take your advice and have it solder
