G35 noise coming from battery area
Ok so I noticed this like a day ago, whenever I turned off the car this noise would come from the battery area, it was like a buzzing noise. I disconnected the battery to see if that would help but nope, it came back on as soon as I connected it back. What could it be? Could it be the battery?. Oh and as soon as I turn the ignition on the noise goes away and there is no noise while the car is running. Now today my car won't start and the noise doesn't go away even if the ignition is on!!):

Probably a relay in the IPDM behind the battery.
Remove the windshield cowl to access it. |
When I check the relay what do I look for?

If it's buzzing it will make itself obvious.
Ok I've changed the relay and the car still won't start now it makes a different cranking noise ???♂Im súper stressed wit this
Probably time to tow it in to Nissan for a diagnostic.
Yeah I guess I have to do that ecm relay is good and still won't crank, y'all know how much it'll be for diagnosis? I'd call but they closed at the moment
Usually it's around $125.
Ok so I got a proper diagnosis and it turns out the the IPDM is bad. Y'all know where I can get one? If I were to get it from another car, will it have to be the same year as mine? Btw I have a 2005 g35 coupe.
So one of the internal IPDM relays is bad? Or is it one of the replaceable ones?
There are quite a few internal soldered ones, pretty good chance that's what fried.
I changed the whole IPDM and still does the same thing. I realized something though. The fans turn on when I put the car in the "on" position but other than that. Still doesn't crank.
I meant it still doesn't start not crank it cranks but don't start
When cranking does the tachometer needle move?
